Obama bets on Pacquiao on Pacquiao-Mosley fight

Before clashing with America’s Shane Mosley, the World’s Fighter of the Decade Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao was able to have a 15-minute meeting with United States President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden on Tuesday at the White House in Washington DC.

Pacquiao, together with his wife, Jinkee, had a closed-to-media luncheon with Obama and Biden as they talk about their common interests. They chatted about basketball, boxing and the much-awaited Pacquiao-Mosley fight which will take place two and a half months from now. With an overwhelming honor, the pound-for-pound king does not only get the chance to lay hands with the most powerful person in the world but has also got Obama’s vote for him on his upcoming event on May 7.

Though Obama believes that the powerful skills of Mosley in the ring cannot be underestimated, the US president placed his bet on Pacquiao considering the thirteen straight successful fights of the boxer, as compared to the last two unimpressive bouts of his contender. He predicts that the eight-division champion could win via unanimous decision but winning via KO at any round is also highly anticipated.

Obama commended the two great fighters on the respect they show to each other. The former WBA Welterweight Super Champion Mosley sees that his clash with the Filipino champ will be a quick match since KO is not possible at any moment on the fight.
Pacquiao invited the President to watch the fight live on the stadium but Obama’s schedule does not allow him. Nevertheless, he promised to watch it on a live streaming by availing the CBS/Showtime PPV.

The world’s much-awaited sports event, the Pacquiao vs Mosley is endorsed by the Top Rank Promotions in joint venture with Showtime, Shane Mosley Promotions, MP Promotions and MGM Grand. It can be watched via live streaming by availing Showtime PPV worth $54.95.
